Once again, we collected money for the Toano Kiwanis Adopt-A-Child program; however, this year we were able to buy clothes and toys for 12 children versus 9 children last year. We invaded Wal Mart with our $50 for each child and searched the store over for the best bargains we could find. Then we met at Deane's home later on and showed everyone what we bought. We had a great time picking out toys, clothes, shoes, underwear, coats, etc. We hope the children enjoy our gifts - we enjoyed shopping for them.
